TAX ASSOCIATE $55K
Tax Associate is responsible for elements of tax reporting and compliance. Specific duties involve tax return preparation, tax research and tax planning/projections for high net worth individuals, their families, and their businesses. Expected to show highest quality of client service, professional demeanor, dedication to service, and attention to detail are of utmost importance. The Tax Associate works closely with staff on all phases of project and engagement management for multiple clients. The Tax Associate will assist with and learn to conduct preparation of tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, corporations, and foreign entities. Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality. Prepare tax returns for S corporations, C corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, not-for-profits, employee benefit plans, and foreign clients. Research and consult on various tax matters; utilize tax-related software to prepare and process returns. Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities. Maintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform tax services.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 1 year or one busy season of public accounting experience
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
